For more than ten years I managed the divisions of the international company ManpowerGroup in Lithuania and Latvia, while in Lithuania I held the position of director of UAB Manpower Lit. Among the clients of our company were the largest service centers and international companies located in Lithuania, which we helped to discover the necessary talents and successfully establish and expand. After 15 years of operation, the company's turnover exceeded 10 million euros and was profitable despite the crises. During this time, the implemented changes allowed the company to gain a foothold in the top five of the strongest personnel services companies in the region. Another of my many years of activity is participating in projects and initiatives of the American Chamber of Business. Since April 2022, I have been Vice-Chair of the House Board. Since June this year, I have also headed the HR and Migration Committee. Abeja's duties are related to the representation of Lithuania internationally in order to attract as many investors and talents as possible to our country, as well as to improve the business environment for international organizations already established here. Enterprise development — both its growth in the country and its international expansion — has been an integral part of my work since 2011. For the past 1.5 years, I have been leading the personnel department in the fast-growing group of companies Ignitis Renewables. During this period, the number of employees in 4 countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland) increased 6 times. In Latvia, we created the organization from the first employee. Functions curated by my unit include employee selection, reward and benefits management, training and organizational development, and employer image building and strengthening. I myself am responsible for the formation and coordination of the personnel strategy of the Ignitis renewables group of companies (international group, 150+ employees, 20+ companies). I belong to a management team, directly subordinate to the CEO.
