Vilma Fairclough has more than 20 years of leadership experience in top-level positions in Lithuanian and Latvian companies. Currently, Vilma holds the position of Chairman of the Board in several Latvian pharmaceutical companies, including the market leader in the field of retail trade - the pharmacy chain “Meness aptieka”, as well as the leading wholesale company “Recipe plus”, AS. She also heads three pharmaceutical manufacturing companies - RFF, Silvanols and Jonnex-Farma. Vilma is a member of the board of SIA “Novus Vet”. Prior to joining the Latvian pharmaceutical sector, Vilma held the position of Vice President at Kesko Senukai Lithuania, UAB, a leading DIY company, where she was responsible for the Baltic markets. Until 2020, she worked for 17 years in a managerial position in the largest retail chain in Lithuania and Latvia “Maxima”, where she headed the Commerce Department and was a member of the Board. I have worked for many years in international, multicultural organizations, I have been in various financial management roles since 2011, I work with top managers, business owners and shareholders to ensure the cultivation of the company's value (from current activities of the finance department, management of company resources to work with business strategy, large investment and global M&A projects, etc.). I have extensive experience in corporate development, both in creating and securing strategies and focusing on operational issues (systems implementation, operational efficiency, process improvement), as well as knowing which financial best practices should be applied, which and how to adapt to the needs of a particular organization (including corporate governance practices, company activities and risk management) experience, etc.). For more than 10 years I have been working with finance teams (team size from 10 to 78 people), I am focused on the formation of teams as a cohesive whole, while ensuring the individual growth of each of its members. I have already gained experience as a member of the board (from 2023 I am a member of the advisory board, from 2024 - a member of the board of a state UAB in the field of finance) and I plan to further deepen my knowledge and experience in this field.
